Booost Inc. (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hironori Aoi; hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), which supports the acceleration of companies' SX by providing an integrated SX platform "Sustainability ERP*", has begun providing its Sustainability ERP "booost Sustainability" to King Jim Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Miyoko Kimura), a manufacturer of stationery and office supplies, to accelerate sustainability management.
By utilizing "booost Sustainability," King Jim will be able to efficiently manage sustainability information across all of its group companies and locations, including its domestic and international factories. This will allow the company to more proactively promote environmentally conscious product development and support the enhancement of its corporate value.
The King Jim Group is committed to sustainability management both internally and externally to contribute to the sustainable development of society on a global scale through its business activities, and is promoting various ESG-related initiatives and data disclosure.
While we have previously used Excel for Scope 1 and 2 calculations and environmental data management, we have decided to implement "booost Sustainability," which we developed and operate, in order to achieve centralized management and optimal management on the cloud across all our business locations, including globally, and to clarify actions toward Scope 3 calculations and reductions. We have now begun rolling it out to our overseas group companies as well.

The demand for sustainability information disclosure is increasing year by year, and there is a need for efficient data management and accelerated disclosure under appropriate conditions. This time, we considered introducing a tool to improve operational efficiency and strengthen the analysis of collected data by managing all of our group's environmental data, including GHGs, at all of our domestic and international locations on the cloud, with the aim of reducing emissions, including Scope 3 emissions.
We chose "booost Sustainability" because, in addition to the functions we currently need, it also has a wealth of detailed functions that will be necessary as we further enhance our sustainability efforts in the future, and it also has future potential in terms of expansion.
Currently, we have begun collecting data through on-site input using "booost Sustainability," and have also started calculating Scope 3 requirements. We are also working to expand this to our overseas group companies in order to promote appropriate management at all our locations. We will continue to work even harder to promote sustainability initiatives in the future.
The sustainability ERP* "booost Sustainability" is an integrated SX platform for managing sustainability information for your company and its suppliers. It automates the collection and aggregation of sustainability-related information, supporting over 1,200 data points including environmental, social, and governance aspects, in accordance with international disclosure standards, and enables real-time monitoring.
Equipped with globally compatible data governance capabilities, this platform enables the implementation of multi-layered approval flows within organizations, including groups and supply chains. It is also designed to support third-party assurance and provides comprehensive, phase-by-phase functions to streamline and optimize each task involved in disclosing sustainability-related information.
