Terms of Use (for GX users)

Article 1 (Purpose)

  1. These booost Energy Marketplace Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") stipulate the matters that you must comply with when using "booost Energy Marketplace" (hereinafter referred to as "this Service") provided by Booost Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company").
 
 

Article 2 (Contents of this Service)

  1. (1) If a customer wishes to receive electricity from a retail electricity provider participating in this service (hereinafter referred to as "participating provider," and the participating providers are subject to change. The Company is not obligated to disclose the names of participating providers to customers), the customer must apply using the method prescribed by the Company.

     (2) When an application is received as described in the preceding paragraph, our company will notify the participating businesses of the necessary information and obtain quotations from participating businesses that wish to conclude a power supply contract with the customer who made the application.

     (3) We will compile the quotations provided by each participating business and send them to the customer concerned.

     (4) If the customer wishes to enter into a power supply contract based on the estimate provided by any of the participating businesses, the customer shall notify us of this, and we will notify the participating business along with the customer's contact information.

     (5) The participating business operator who receives the notification in the preceding paragraph shall contact the customer directly and conclude a power supply contract between the participating business operator and the customer. The notifications in paragraphs 1 to 4 shall be made in the manner prescribed by our company on "booost Sustainability" (hereinafter referred to as "this platform") operated by our company, and the use of this platform shall be "booost Sustainability Terms of UseThe following applies:

     (6) We do not guarantee that a power supply contract will be concluded with a participating business operator as a result of the customer using this service. The customer shall use this service and conclude a power supply contract with a participating business operator of their own responsibility. We may add to or change some of the contents of this service as set forth in paragraph 1 when we deem it necessary, and the customer shall agree to this in advance.

 
 

Article 3 (Consent regarding data provision)

  1.  Customers agree without objection that we may use the information we obtain and collect from them through boost Sustainability (including personal information) and the information they enter through this service for the purpose of providing this service and to provide it to participating businesses to the extent necessary.
  2. Customers agree without objection that we may receive information about them regarding this service from participating businesses (including, but not limited to, negotiation status and contract details with participating businesses, and electricity usage status).
 
 

Article 4 (Prohibited matters)

  1. Customers must not do the following:
    (1) Entering false or inaccurate information when submitting an auction application.
    (2) Negotiating independently with participating businesses that have provided estimates, or concluding power supply contracts without using this service.However, this is limited to the period up to two years from the date the estimate was provided.
    (3) Participating in an auction on behalf of a third party by entering the information of a third party other than the customer.
  2. If a customer violates any of the provisions in the preceding paragraph, we may request the customer to rectify the violation, suspend the customer's use of the service, or terminate the agreement with the customer regarding the use of this platform. 
 
 

Article 5 (Entering false information)

  1. If there is a possibility that the information you have entered is false, we may request that you provide documentation to prove that the information is not false.
  2.  If you do not submit documents proving that the information you have entered is true within one week of receiving the request mentioned in the preceding paragraph, we may delete the information you have entered or suspend your use of this service.
 
 

Article 6 (Reporting obligation)

  1.  If a customer enters into an electricity supply contract with a participating business operator who has provided a quotation (in this case, the participating business operator is referred to as the "contracting business operator"), the customer must report this fact and the matters specified in the following items to our company by electronic record within 7 days of the conclusion of the contract: (1) The name of the contracting business operator and the name of the plan
    (2) Type of electricity to be supplied (extra high voltage, high voltage, low voltage)
    (3) Number of locations and locations of electricity supply bases
    (4) Contracted power (kW) in the power supply contract
    (5) Validity period of the electricity supply contract
    (6) Other matters that the Company requires
  2. If any of the following events occur, the customer shall notify the Company in writing or by electronic record as soon as possible after the occurrence of the event (no later than 7 days): (1) If there is any change or addition to the matters notified to the Company pursuant to the preceding paragraph.
    (2) When the electricity supply contract with the contracting business is renewed
    (3) If an additional power supply contract is concluded with the contracted business operator (regardless of whether or not this service was used; the same applies hereinafter in this and the next item), or if a power supply contract is re-concluded with the contracted business operator.
    (4) When a company affiliated with the customer enters into a power supply contract with a contracting company.
 
 

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

  1. We do not guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or any other aspect of the estimates and other information provided to customers by participating businesses through this service. Furthermore, we assume no responsibility whatsoever for any actions (including omissions) of participating businesses conducted through or in connection with this service, nor for the content of any electricity supply contracts concluded between customers and participating businesses, or for any performance under such contracts.
  2. Even if a dispute arises between you and a participating business, or if we are held liable, as a result of information you enter in the auction or other information you provide to participating businesses through this service, you shall endeavor to resolve such matter at your own responsibility and expense, and we shall bear no responsibility or expense whatsoever.
