Booost Inc. (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hironori Aoi; hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), a Sustainability Tech Company, has provided NTT Anode Energy Corporation (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Teruyuki Kishimoto; hereinafter referred to as "NTT Anode Energy") with a platform to accelerate sustainability management.Boost SustainabilityWe have started offering "[product name]".
Our company will provide "booost GX," one of the applications of "booost Sustainability," along with an optional detailed power contract management function, as part of the "Power Data Visualization and Utilization Solution" that NTT Anode Energy began offering in May 2023 to support companies in achieving carbon neutrality. This will contribute as a platform for visualizing and managing electricity charges and power usage linked to power contracts of companies including eight NTT Group companies*1, as well as visualizing and managing CO2 emissions based on that data.

Reducing CO2 emissions from electricity use is a crucial initiative for achieving the Japanese government's goal of carbon neutrality by 2050. Companies with numerous locations nationwide and multiple electricity contracts, in particular, struggle to collect and aggregate digital data related to electricity, making it difficult to grasp electricity usage in a timely manner. As a result, energy conservation efforts aimed at reducing CO2 emissions and cost estimation for the introduction of renewable energy become challenges. Therefore, each company needs to create a system that allows for the timely visualization of electricity usage and other related data, and to consider and apply measures to reduce CO2 emissions based on their individual usage patterns, in order to reduce CO2 emissions associated with their electricity use.
NTT Anode Energy has launched a "Power Data Visualization and Utilization Solution" to support carbon neutrality and address the challenges faced by companies. In supporting companies' planned carbon neutrality efforts, we will provide the "booost Sustainability (booost GX)" platform, along with optional detailed power contract management functions, to visualize electricity charges, power usage, CO2 emissions, etc., linked to power contracts.
NTT Anode Energy's "Power Data Visualization and Utilization Solution," which supports carbon neutrality, has initially been launched to eight NTT Group companies to help them achieve carbon neutrality. Further expansion to companies outside the NTT Group is planned.
Moving forward, we will continue to strive to build the No. 1 decarbonization and sustainability platform as a technology partner of NET-ZERO/sustainability leaders*2 in various industries.
*1 Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, NTT East Corporation, NTT West Corporation, NTT DOCOMO, NTT Communications Corporation, NTT Comware Corporation, NTT DATA Corporation, NTT Anode Energy Corporation
*2 NET-ZERO/Sustainability Leader: Individuals or companies that are leading the way in their respective industries by taking a pioneering approach to achieving NET-ZERO/sustainability. *NET-ZERO: Reducing CO2 emissions to the absolute minimum and then subtracting the remaining amount from absorption and removal to make the total zero.
As a technology partner of companies leading the way in NET-ZERO/ESG, our company provides a platform to support the acceleration of sustainability management.Boost SustainabilityWe offer the following applications: "booost GX (formerly ENERGY X GREEN)", which promotes GX (Green Transformation) such as visualization of CO2 emissions, carbon offsetting, and reporting; "booost Supplier", which enables visualization of CO2 emissions across the entire supply chain; "booost ESG", which visualizes ESG disclosure items and leads to improved ESG performance; and "booost Energy (formerly ENERGY X)", which enables procurement and supply of CO2-free electricity, etc.

「"booost GX"teeth,"Boost SustainabilityThis application promotes GX (Green Transformation) through features such as visualization of CO2 emissions, carbon offsetting, and reporting. Selected by NET-ZERO leaders across various industries, it has been implemented by over 1,000 companies and is used at 168,000 locations. It allows for the visualization of emissions for each product and service, enabling planned CO2 reductions (energy conservation, renewable energy, purchase of non-fossil fuel certificates, etc.). Furthermore, it automatically generates various reports related to international initiatives (RE100, SBTi, TCFD, etc.) and the Climate Change Act, supporting efficient decarbonization management.

NTT Anode Energy, as a business promotion company that promotes smart energy businesses utilizing the technologies and assets owned by the NTT Group, will maximize the synergies of the NTT Group and, through the development and provision of solutions that make more advanced use of distributed energy resources such as renewable energy power generation facilities and storage batteries, will work with partner companies to create a new energy distribution system, thereby revitalizing industry and realizing a sustainable society.
